Paint on Windowsills
Both latex and oil-based indoor paints are relatively safe if small amounts are swallowed. However, paint ingredients vary greatly, so always keep out of reach of children. House paints produced after 1977 contain minimal, if any, lead.
Window sills are often the perfect for toddlers to pull themselves up by, and to chew on. It is important to make sure there is not lead paint on windowsills that might be eaten by small children.
