Most drain cleaners are strong acids or alkalis that can cause severe burns if swallowed, inhaled or gotten on the skin or in the eyes. All drain cleaners should be kept in a locked cabinet and in their original containers. Never mix drain cleaners with other cleaners or chemicals as toxic fumes may result. To use these products safely, have the entire label with full instructions, ingredients and cautions available. Always read the entire label and use only as directed.
