Dear Friends:
It is my great pleasure to recognize the generosity of so many who have given their time, talent and financial resources in support of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Please accept our deep gratitude on behalf of the children and families we serve.
Throughout our history, Cincinnati Children's has thrived because of the foresight and generosity of our contributors and volunteers. Together, we have built a medical center we can all be proud of. With your help, our extraordinary staff delivers world-class patient care, conducts leading-edge research and educates the next generation of health care professionals.
With your continued support, we will do even more in the future to transform care for children. We possess the talent, ability and passion to be the leader in improving child health. With your partnership in this important work, we can continue to change the outcome for children around the world. We gratefully acknowledge those contributors who supported Cincinnati Children's from July 1, 2003, to June 30, 2004. We are indebted to our donors and volunteers for their continued loyalty and generosity.
Before concluding, I want to pay tribute to a friend and leader we lost in December 2003. Jack Sherlock died on Christmas, after a long battle with cancer. Jack led our Department of Development for 20 years. Those who worked with him will always remember his infectious spirit and dedication to Cincinnati Children's. We think about him often as we work today to build on the legacy he left.
