Corporate partners played a major role in the huge success of The Celestial Ball, the first gala to benefit the Cincinnati Children's Fund, held on April 16. More than $330,000 was raised to help the medical center address its most pressing needs, far exceeding the goal of $250,000.
Thanks to generous corporate support, the 600 gala guests could celebrate nearly 125 years of excellence at Cincinnati Children's, without the need to raise additional funds through auctions or raffles. The evening focused on fun, enchantment and entertainment for all.

Messer Construction Co. and Taft, Stettinius Hollister were major sponsors. Cincinnati Children's also is grateful to GBBN Architects, Nelson Stark Co. and other corporations that helped sponsor this first annual event.
The 2006 Celestial Ball will be held on Saturday, April 8.
