It is with great pleasure that I recognize the generosity of so many donors who have given their time, talent and financial resources in support of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Please accept our deep gratitude on behalf of the children and families we serve.
Today, Cincinnati Children's is the leading provider of pediatric care in the state of Ohio. In fact, last fiscal year we had nearly 800,000 patient encounters. In addition to our world-class patient care, Cincinnati Children's is also a leading pediatric research center and staffs one of the nation's top four pediatric residency programs.
Private philanthropic support is essential in our pursuit to be the leader in improving child health. Last fiscal year, Cincinnati Children's provided more than $40 million of uncompensated care and financial assistance for children and families in need. With your continued support, we can continue to change the outcome for children in need from around the world.
