Sandra M. Grether, PhD, CCC/SLP is the Coordinator of Speech Pathology for the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and Associate Professor of Clinical at the University of Cincinnati in the College of Allied Health Sciences, Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Dr. Grether lectures on both a state and national level on the topics of prelinguistic communication and augmentative communication systems and supports across the life span. She is a faculty member on the Maternal Child Health Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities grant responsible for interdisciplinary training. In addition, she conducts and participates in research in the areas of prelinguistic communication, Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome, childhood apraxia / dyspraxia of speech, and augmentative communication.
Dr. Grether has been working as an evaluator and service provider for individuals with augmentative communication needs for over 25 years and as a speech language pathologist working with individuals with developmental disabilities for over 34 years.
