Molly Steele became a member of the Family Advisory Council at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center during April 2006.
"I joined the Family Advisory Council in order to participate in continuing to make Children's Hospital a family-centered environment for families," Molly said.
"Specifically, I would love to work with the Developmental Clinic in their efforts to become more family-centered. I bring to the table my professional experience as a child development specialist and, most importantly, my experience as a mother of four children -- one of whom is receiving continued care from the Endocrinology and Developmental departments.
"As a new member, I am thrilled and honored to be working with such a talented and passionate group of professionals and parents," Molly said. "It is truly amazing the powerful and positive transformations this group has made at Cincinnati Children's.
"Regarding my daughter's experience at Cincinnati Children's, I have been more than pleased with the team approach to her care, and most appreciated is that I am regarded with great respect as an integral member of this team," Molly said. "This is part of what family-centered care is all about."
