Richard Puff joined the Family Advisory Council at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center during April 2006.

"Our family has had a short but excellent experience working with the hospital's Endocrinology Department," said Richard, whose family has been using services at Cincinnati Children's since June 2005.

Richard is director of Public Relations and Communications at the University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center.

"Professionally, I've spent 20 years working for academic health centers. I've thoroughly enjoyed providing assistance to these institutions in helping to communicate their excellent programs and staff. I jumped at the opportunity to assist Cincinnati Children's through working with the excellent advisory group," Richard said.

"It's extremely important to consider the thoughts and input from families of the patients using Cincinnati Children's in an effort to continue improving care and access and better understanding the needs of patients and their families," Richard said. "This advisory group is a wonderful way to obtain the varied opinions of families."
