Family Advisory Council Recruiting New Members

At Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, the Family Advisory Council recruits new members each March. New members will begin in July, at the start of fiscal year. Cincinnati Children's staff and interested families must fill out the application and submit it by March 31.

Meeting attendance is crucial to the success of the Family Advisory Council, so all applicants must commit to serving a two-year term and attending all meetings. (Please see the meeting schedule to verify your availability before applying.)

We will contact each nominee personally to schedule face-to-face interviews and send copies of the Family Advisory Council bylaws and vision, mission and values statement. We will interview candidates through April and make our final selections in May based on criteria outlined in the Family Advisory Council bylaws.

All new members must be available to attend one new member orientation meeting (held during summer months) prior to attending their first meeting in August (Please see the meeting schedule for the exact dates and times). New members must also pass a background check.
