Frequent Questions
Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center provides answers to commonly asked questions about its involvement with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation "Pursuing Perfection: Raising the Bar for Health-Care Performance" initiative and grant.
What is Pursuing Perfection?
"Pursuing Perfection: Raising the Bar for Health-Care Performance" is a national initiative funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
The initiative is a response to two reports from the Institute of Medicine. Those reports questioned the safety, quality, efficiency, effectiveness and fairness of the nation's health care system. They suggested the system is failing America because it is poorly designed and must be fundamentally changed.
Pursuing Perfection is intended to be a catalyst for rapid, transformational change.
