Fetal and neonatal anesthesia; fetal and neonatal pharmacology of anesthetic agents

Under mentorship of Dr. Vinks and Dr. Sadhasivam she has received extensive training, not only in applied pharmacology using PK-PD modeling and simulation, but also in research study design, critical thinking, grant and scientific writing skill. She received a scholarship from Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) to attend the summer institute in Maternal-Fetal Pharmacology in 2010. She received the Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research (FAER) Fellow research grant 2010 for her project: The effects of maternal anesthesia on fetal outcomes in sheep model. She also received the Young Investigator Research Awards in 2011 and 2012 from the Society of Pediatric Anesthesia.
