Katharine Bowers, MD, chose it because of impressive gambit of pathology and the variety of diseases she would see without sacrificing exposure to bread-and-butter general pediatrics due to the unique relationship that this referral center has with its surrounding community. She was excited about the emphasis on evidence-based medicine and family-centered rounds.
