Avram Derrow, MD, came to CCHMC for residency because he knew he would get the opportunity to be exposed to a very broad and diverse patient population, and that the training he would get would prepare him for whatever field he chose to go into. The size of the program also allows it to be flexible in accommodating residents with families, and all the unexpected issues that can arise. He was also blown away by how nice everyone was when he came to interview. He can’t imagine being anywhere else!
