Conducting autism research and helping to operate a free student run clinic for the underserved are among Emily Goodwin's most significant professional achievements.

Dr. Goodwin choose Cincinnati Children’s for residency training because of the many opportunities it offers. She has a particular interest in primary care as well as caring for children with special health care needs and has conducted research in autism. Cincinnati allows her to have exposure to both general pediatrics as well as these and other subspecialties that will allow her to explore career interests. More importantly, Cincinnati provides evidence based and patient centered care that will form the foundation of her career, whatever the next step may be.
