Biography

Dr. Kilanowski has recently been appointed by HRSA and the USDHHS to serve a four-year term on the National Advisory Council on Migrant Health. She has received the New Investigator Award from Pediatric, Adolescent, and Ethnicity and Health Research sections from the Midwest Nursing Research Society (MNRS), The Distinguished Recent Alumni Award from the Ohio State University College of Nursing, and the 2009 Child Advocate of the Year Award from the OH Chapter of NAPNAP. She is a president-elect of the Ohio Chapter of National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP), research section liaison committee member of Midwest Nursing Research Society, Board member and secretary of the Ohio Professional Society on the Abuse of Children, member of the Council for the Advancement of Nursing Science, American Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International, The Honor Society of Nursing.
