About
Biography
As a pediatric gastroenterologist, I specialize in children with feeding difficulties and eosinophilic esophagitis, a chronic immune system disease. I work with the interdisciplinary feeding team at Cincinnati Children's. We help children overcome their feeding problems.
My lifelong interest in science led me to become a doctor. I chose medicine because it let me solve problems and help children. I found pediatric gastroenterology appealing as it encompasses so many aspects of children’s lives, including nutrition.
I embrace a team approach to care. I believe my patients and families are a part of that care team. As an educator and the fellowship training director for the Division of Gastroenterology, I teach future doctors how to use the team model.
My research interests focus on pureed feeding by G-tube diets and aerodigestive disorders.
In my free time, I love to exercise and spend time with my family. We like to travel to warm places where we can scuba dive.
