About

Biography

I am a psychiatric clinical nurse specialist with the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

I have been working in psychiatry since 1990, and I became a child and adolescent psychiatric clinical nurse specialist in 1996. Early in my career, I worked with children with developmental delays, which inspired me to take this path.

My philosophy is to approach a child’s mental or behavior issue as a whole — I look at physical health, family health, school health and emotional health.

I have received the Nightingale Award from the University of Pennsylvania.

I love the outdoors. In my free time, I enjoy camping, hiking, boating, swimming and biking. I also practice yoga and love to read.
