As an occupational therapist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, I provide children with therapies and tools to help them with many conditions. The patients I see often have challenges with feeding, executive function, emotional regulation and sensory processing. I also help patients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD and developmental disabilities.

I’ve always wanted to work with children and initially wanted to become a teacher. As I matured, I also developed a passion for helping others. Teaching and service were the foundation I knew I wanted for my career. After learning about OT when a family member was injured, I felt it was the perfect combination of teaching and helping others.

My goal is always to deliver patient-centered care that addresses the needs and goals families have for their children. I strive to meet patients where they are in their journey. Finding challenges to help my patients achieve meaningful goals that will last throughout their lifetime is something I am passionate about. As a developmental clinical trainer for the Division of Occupational and Physical Therapy, I lead occupational therapists through a competency program when they are first hired.

Outside the hospital, I enjoy spending time with my family and two dogs. I also love to travel, play volleyball and cheer on The Ohio State Buckeyes.
