In 2015, Dr. Volovelsky won the Fellow’s Basic Science Research Award by The American Society of Pediatric Research (SPR), as well as the Travel Award for the Kidney Week Meeting and the Trainee Research Award both by The American Society of Nephrology.

In the past, Dr. Volovelsky was awarded with the Dean Award for Excellence in Medical Education by the Medicine Faculty of the Hebrew University (2014), the Research Resident’s Award by the Israeli Society of Pediatrics (2014), and the Joint Research Award by Hebrew University and Hadassah Medical Center (2013).

From 2011-2013, the Hadassah Medical Center has granted Dr. Volovelsky the Physician Scientist Fellowship Grant.

For three years, from 2011-2014, Dr. Volovelsky was awarded the Scholarship for Academic Achievement from the Distinction Stipend for PhD Students for Outstanding Achievement.
