In pediatrics, we get to take care of children and we get to take care of their families, which I don’t think can be separated. I love teaching both kids and their families about their care and learning what works best for them so we can develop the right care plan.

About

Biography

As a pediatrician and a hospitalist, I work with general hospital medical teams, including primary care doctors, subspecialists, therapists and nurses. I also co-manage postoperative patients. I enjoy hospital medicine and our team of remarkable providers.

I was inspired to be a pediatrician by a class I took in high school about child development. I was intrigued by everything I learned, and I found that kids are truly amazing. I continue to learn all kinds of things from my patients, such as awesome toys, video games, new singers and fun YouTube videos. My patients push me to be my very best.

In pediatrics, we get to take care of children and we get to take care of their families, which I don’t think can be separated. I love teaching both kids and their families about their care and learning what works best for them so we can develop the right care plan.

During my spare time, I love to read and enjoy looking for new books. I also love running and hiking. I’m a huge Graeter's ice cream fan. I would eat their Elena's Blueberry Pie ice cream every day if I could.
