Elizabeth Wassenaar, MS, MD, is a Triple Board Resident at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. She came to Children’s from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, specifically to pursue the triple board residency. She was attracted to the unique combination of world-class physician-teachers, the ability to learn by doing clinical care, implementing cutting edge therapeutic interventions and a supportive learning and working environment that can only be found right here in Cincinnati.
In her time here, she has been supported as she has explored many different ways to put her training into practice and has found supportive faculty at every juncture that has led to teaching opportunities, publications and lessons she will carry with her forever. In conclusion, Cincinnati Children’s has prepared her to leave residency with an unparalleled education and set of skills that she knows will carry her throughout her career.
