After attending the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine for medical school and rotating through Children’s for her pediatric rotations, Leah Welty, MD, knew that she wanted to be a part of a program that strives for excellence as CCHMC does. She has always appreciated the focus on quality improvement, evidence-based care and patient safety, and this was the driving force in her choosing to stay here for residency. As an added bonus, she enjoys working in such a fun-filled and supportive environment that makes the day-to-day work during residency so much fun!
