What is the most memorable moment of your child life career?
Well, I primarily work with the adolescents in the hospital, and some of my most memorable moments include group times with the teens when they're able to feel safe and feel like they can express themselves. It is so awesome to see them open up and related to each other, not only about hospital issues, but also about normal teen issues outside of the hospital.
I also carry the memories of patients' smiles with me daily, and it feels great to know that child life can make a difference.
