Pharmacy Technicians

We are looking for Pharmacy Technicians to:

  • Work in our Division of Pharmacy, where we offer expertise in drug and dosage regimen selection, especially in monitoring and interpreting therapeutic and toxic drug concentrations
  • Assist Pharmacists with preparation of medication to infant, child and adolescent patients
  • Prepare unit dose, ambulatory, and sterile dosage forms for dispensing
  • Fill physician orders
  • Compound extemporaneous products
  • Fill and deliver medication carts to patient care units
  • Maintain inventory and stock levels, ensuring that work areas are organized
  • Answer/screen phone calls from the department and customers

 

Qualities We're Seeking

Required qualifications include:

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree or Certification in Pharmacy Technology required within 210 days of employment

Preferred qualifications include:

  • One year previous pharmacy related experience
