Cincinnati Children's Voted Best Place to Work

Business Courier's Best Places to Work award.

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center was one of three finalists in the Cincinnati Business Courier's "Best Place to Work" program for 2007.
 
Cincinnati Children's won the award in 2006 and 2004. Companies were chosen as finalists based on their employees' responses to an online survey that measured criteria such as:

  • Retention rate
  • Manager effectiveness
  • Team effectiveness
  • Employee alignment with company goals
  • Trust in senior leadership
  • Trust in fellow coworkers

Cincinnati Children's has been voted Best Place to Work.

There were four finalists in each of the four categories:

  • Small (10-75 employees)
  • Medium (76-149 employees)
  • Large (150-499 employees)
  • Grand (500 plus employees)

A significant percentage of a finalist's employee base needed to complete the survey in order for the scores to be considered valid.

The Greater Cincinnati's Best Places to Work program is open to any company based in the 15-county region with 10 or more employees. Companies not based here but which have at least 75 local employees may also be nominated.
