Thank you for your interest in Cardiology Fellowship training at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. The Division of Cardiology is committed to providing an exciting in-depth and high-quality experience for its fellows.

Our comprehensive training program offers participation in state-of-the-art patient care and opportunities for high quality research training in a variety of clinical, translational and basic science areas. A broad-based, strong and active faculty is led by division director Thomas J. Kulik, MD, and provides training in all the sub-specialty areas of Cardiology including:

  • Imaging
  • Catheterization and intervention
  • Cardiac intensive care
  • Electrophysiology
  • Preventive
  • Adult congenital heart disease
  • Heart failure / transplant

In addition, Cincinnati Children's has a wealth of support from all the pediatric sub-specialties as well as surgery and anesthesia.

Fellows in Cardiology are given ample opportunities to experience training and research in cardiac development and in the genetics, epidemiology and pathogenesis of cardiovascular disease as well. The Division of Molecular Cardiovascular Biology offers a unique opportunity for the interested fellow to become involved in defining the molecular underpinnings of cardiovascular malformations and disease.
