Overview
The Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is designed to prepare physicians for an academic career in the growing subspecialty of pediatric emergency medicine.
Through a broad range of experiences, fellows develop proficiency in the areas of clinical care, research, teaching and administration.
Our program offers a rich, challenging clinical experience, allowing fellows to progressively acquire the knowledge, skills and confidence required to provide excellent, direct and supervisory emergency care to children.
Qualifications
Fellows must successfully complete a three-year training program to fulfill the current requirement for board exam eligibility in pediatric emergency medicine.
General emergency medicine candidates will also be required to apply for three years of training in our program to develop their academic skills in the third year.
