Pediatric Surgery

Overview

At Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, the Pediatric Surgery fellowship is a two-year training program that emphasizes diverse clinical experience and gradually increasing responsibility. In the first year, electives are available in pediatric urology, neonatology and anesthesiology / critical care.

The second-year chief resident responsibilities include administration of both the educational program and the clinical care team.

The residency team includes up to six persons representing the Departments of Surgery at the University of Cincinnati, Good Samaritan Hospital, Jewish Hospital, and the Department of Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
