Explanation
The Genetics Education Program for Nurses (GEPN) independent self-paced modules are designed to promote just-in-time learning. The learner does not need to use the modules in any particular sequence; rather, the learner is encouraged to use any number of modules in the sequence that best meets his / her continuing education needs.
Each module is consistent with the following:

Module Access
The modules can be completed from a personal computer or Macintosh Apple. Please review the minimum computer requirements needed.
The log-in system allows the program to keep track of where the learner exits the module. On re-entry, the learner will be returned to where she / he left off at the previous session.
For nurses who want to use the modules for continuing education, a certificate with the module's specific number of contact hours will be printable after all content and evaluations have been completed. Likewise, after completing all content and evaluations, students using the modules as part of a course requirement will be able to print a certificate of completion for each module that will automatically insert the student's name, date of completion and post test score.
