Fees and Costs
As of October 2007, there is a a charge to access the modules. The GEPN has produced five modules. The charge is:
$15 per module or buy 4 for $60 get 5th module FREE! Credit cards accepted: Visa, Mastercard, or Discover
Nurses' Role in Pharmacogenetics / Pharmacogenomics
A certificate for 4.3 nursing contact hours will be awarded to nurses who participate in an entire course and complete all related evaluations.
Environmental Genetics and Complex Diseases
A certificate for 4.1 nursing contact hours will be awarded to nurses who participate in an entire course and complete all related evaluations.
Promoting Informed Decision Making about Genetic Testing
A certificate for 5.8 nursing contact hours will be awarded to nurses who participate in an entire course and complete all related evaluations.
Genetic Testing Module
A certificate for 4.7 nursing contact hours will be awarded to nurses who participate in an entire course and complete all related evaluations.
Family History Module
A certificate for 5.8 nursing contact hours will be awarded to nurses who participate in an entire course and complete all related evaluations.
Accreditation
Contact hours will be awarded to nurses who participate in an entire course and complete all related evaluations.
A processing fee is required.
Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (OH-046/9-1-09) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
