The Online Master's Degree Program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center provides answers to frequently asked questions, the application process:
Yes, if any of the following apply:
- you have never taken the GRE or other graduate admission test
- you took the GRE more than 5 years ago
- you have a doctoral degree but did not have to take an admission test (MCAT or GMAT) for entrance to the program (for example, most D.C. programs do not require an admission test)
Yes, official transcripts are required minimally from any college or university from which you received a degree.
The University of Cincinnati requires official transcripts in compliance with accreditation requirements. Student records are audited by the University and the accreditation bodies to ensure that application requirements are being met. For this reason, an application with missing transcripts cannot be processed. However, if compelling proof can be provided that you did in fact graduate from the university (including the year of graduation, the degree conferred, and the grades received for coursework), then please contact the program coordinator, Lea Alaee, at (513) 636-4183 or lea.alaee@cchmc.org to discuss your situation.
In most cases, no. A transfer can only be done if you incorrectly applied to another CI program. If you applied to anything else, you will unfortunately need to reapply.
Applications are accepted in any quarter and only processed when all materials are received.

It is possible, with permission from the program directors, to take up to three classes without matriculating. Please contact the program coordinator (lea.alaee@cchmc.org) for an Individual Course application form. If you are outside of Ohio, however, please be aware that the cost will be very high - $1003 per credit hour for the 2008-2009 academic year. If you are within Ohio, the cost is the same as for a matriculated student.
