The program is also a member of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (AAPIC), and abides by AAPIC policies, including compliance with the requirements of the annual "match" process hosted by the National Matching Services Inc.

The O'Grady Residency in Psychology assists interns in establishing competence in evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment, multidisciplinary consultation, and cultural and individual diversity with children, adolescents and families in the context of a health care facility. The program also focuses on training in quality improvement, clinical research, and professionalism.

The program’s mission is to prepare future leaders in psychology through excellent training in evidence-based clinical care, research and advocacy. The O'Grady Residency in Psychology at Cincinnati Children's is committed to:
