Burn Victim Tool
Shriners Hospitals for Children has developed a new Burn Resuscitation Log, designed to help prehospital care providers and emergency departments nationwide treat burn victims.
This form aids health care providers in the treatment of burn victims by tracking the amount of resuscitation fluid received from initial response to arrival at the hospital. This tool includes information on how to calculate:
- Percentage of burn
- Amount of fluid to administer during the first 24 hours
