With the opening of the Children's Hospital Research Foundation in 1931, we began a formal affiliation with the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine to ensure that teaching and research would always strengthen pediatric patient care.
The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine's Department of Pediatrics is now based at Children's Hospital Medical Center of Cincinnati and chaired by Thomas Boat, MD.
