Continuing Education Information
Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is accredited by the Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Cincinnati Children's designates the Pediatric Advanced Life Support provider course as meeting the criteria for a maximum of 13.5 hours in category 1 credit of the Physician's Recognition Award of the American Medical Association. Each physician should claim only the number of hours that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
15.9 contact hours for nursing will be awarded through Cincinnati Children's. Cincinnati Children's (OH-046) is approved as a provider of continuing education in nursing by the Ohio Nurses Association (ONA). The ONA is accredited as an approver of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurse Credentialing Center Commission on Accreditation (OBN-001-91).
