About Each Rotation

Newborn Nursery Experiences

Pediatric Residents gain experience with newborns.

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center partners with two nearby hospitals for training in newborn care.

University Hospital

Across the street from our campus, the University of Cincinnati Hospital has a Level III NICU and delivers more than 2,200 babies each year. Many are high-risk deliveries attended by our residents and neonatologists, providing excellent exposure to delivery room resuscitation and the care of high-risk neonates.

Good Samaritan Hospital

You'll get additional exposure and experience in neonatal care at Good Samaritan Hospital, a large community hospital located a half-mile from our campus. This hospital delivers more than 7,000 babies each year. The nursery and Level III NICU are staffed by our residents and neonatologists.
