Taste of Cincinnati is a culinary arts festival held every Memorial Day weekend to usher summer in with grand style. Local restaurants of all flavors bring samples of their best dishes off their menus - there is literally something for everyone. More than 500,000 people crowd Fountain Square each year to get a nibble and watch upcoming talent showcased at daily concerts.
Oktoberfest
In large part because of its German heritage, Cincinnati boasts the biggest Oktoberfest celebration in the US where people can get a taste of German-style music, food, und bier. Head on down to enjoy good company and sauerkraut!
Cincinnati's Flying Pig Marathon takes place on the first Sunday in May and has nearly 4,000 finishers every year. If you are not quite ready for the full marathon, a 5K, a 10K, and a half-marathon are also offered. Or find three friends and sign up for a relay.
Jazz Festival
Taking place in the Paul Brown Stadium (home of the Bengals), the Jazz Festival is a two-day celebration of jazz and contemporary music. The event began in 1962 and has evolved into the largest rhythm and blues festival in the country and annually attracts artists such as John Legend, Anita Baker, Robin Thicke, The Ojays, and many more.
Party in the Park is a concert series that rocks the river every year from April to September. Billed as the "original social network," Party brings together hundreds of local people to rock out to the hottest local bands.
