Researchers in this group investigate the development of/diseases effecting gastrointestinal organs such as the esophagus, intestines, liver, pancreas, and stomach.
Basic and clinical researchers work in collaboration to elucidate disease mechanisms and identify new ways to predict disease and to stimulate regeneration of diseased tissues.
