Research Interest: Investigating lung diseases including Asthma and Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and the associated lung remodeling. The application of transitional medicine while focusing on targets of activated pathways to develop future therapies.
Why did you decide to come to Cincinnati?
Because of the prestige associated with the program due to the association with Children's Hospital and their almost limitless amount of resources. Also it was my hometown.
Why would you recommend this program to others?
The program is very well supported by faculty and current graduate students - creating a welcoming environment to work in, one of the best around. The program also offers a large range of research areas to investigate, while encouraging collaborations across different specialties.
What have you enjoyed most about the program?
Everyone has been very helpful and friendly. I also enjoy the exposure to talks and lectures from current and visiting faculty and their projects.
