Research Interest: My research interest is currently in heart development, specifically early heart structure and function and what molecular mechanisms are responsible for proper function.
Why did you decide to come to Cincinnati?
I decided to come to Cincinnati because the MDB Program offered a variety of research options and labs to chose from, and because of their close association with Children's Hospital.
Why would you recommend this program to others?
I would certainly recommend the MDB Program to prospective graduate students; it is a very well organized and focused program with an emphasis on translational research.
What have you enjoyed most about the program?
I have enjoyed opportunities that the MDB Program has offered, both in research to learn about developmental processes and the interactions with the faculty and other students.
