Why did you decide to come to Cincinnati?
After visiting several schools, I was convinced that UC had the best facilities and most diverse faculty. Also, I was very impressed with the accomplishments of current graduate students (ie publication records, grants, etc).
Why would you recommend this program to others?
I would definitely recommend this program for several reasons. First, the environment that the MDB program establishes is conducive to molding thoughtful, creative, and successful scientists. In addition, there is a real feeling of cooperation and comradery between the faculty and the students. This program puts its students first and really tries to provide them with every opportunity to succeed in the program and in their future careers.
What have you enjoyed most about the program?
I really appreciate the sense of cooperation that exists among students and faculty members. I have also benefited greatly from the 1st year course work, journal clubs, and seminars. I can't think of another time in my life when I learned this much information in such a short period of time.
