Research Interest: My research interests include the role of the Notch signaling pathway in heart valve and bone development and disease.
Why did you decide to come to Cincinnati?
I decided to come to Cincinnati Children's Hospital to pursue my interest in biological research as a research assistant. After a few great years, my interests grew and I decided to join the Molecular and Developmental Biology Program to further my career in academic research.
Why would you recommend this program to others?
I would recommend this program to anyone that wants to gain knowledge from the most skilled and highly motivated faculty that this program has to offer. The learning environment and collegiality at Children's Hospital is second to none.
What have you enjoyed most about the program?
I have enjoyed the interactions with the faculty and students and the knowledge that there is an open door policy amongst the faculty to encourage collaborative efforts to further science.
