Research Interest: The physical properties of senescent HPV positive cancer cells and their unique migratory properties; also, the role of the human DEK oncogene in HPV postive head and neck cancer.
Why did you decide to come to Cincinnati?
I was interested in reproductive and developmental biology and found that Cincinnati Children's offered what I was looking for. Cost of living is also very affordable.
Why would you recommend this program to others?
There is a very collaborative and friendly environment here. There are more professors than students, so PI's are accessible. The stipend is competitive.
What have you enjoyed most about the program?
Having the opportunity to meet so many people from different backgrounds.
