Why did you decide to come to Cincinnati?
To be affiliated with one of the nation's best children's hospitals and Developmental Biology programs, and to work with world-class researchers and mentors. I was also very impressed by this program's commitment to translational research.
Why would you recommend this program to others?
The faculty really take a personal interest in the students. It's clear that they want us to succeed, and are always willing to take the time to chat, about science or just anything.
What have you enjoyed most about the program?
Extra things like seminars, symposiums and special class offerings where we learn about novel and exciting things going on in the field, and see how scientific discoveries are changing the world every day.
