Why did you decide to come to Cincinnati?
Developmental biology was one of my favorite subjects. From the MDB website I got the feeling that this program is one of the best focusing on developmental biology. There is a great diversity of faculty working on different aspects of developmental biology and the program is also well funded since it is part of the Cincinnati Children's Research Foundation.
Why would you recommend this program to others?
I think it's a great program for students who are interested in developmental biology.
What have you enjoyed most about the program?
There is really a large group of faculty available for the students in the program. They focus on different aspects of developmental biology and utilize different model systems, everything from flies, frogs, mice and zebrafish. So for students, there are so many opportunities to choose from.
