Research Interest: Utilizing the zebrafish model system to discover how and why interstitial flow alters the normal process of lymphangiogenesis, characterizing and developing an atlas for the zebrafish lymphatic system throughout development, assessing the temporal and spatial role of VEGFC during lymphangiogenesis.
Why did you decide to come to Cincinnati?
The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is a very well known institution, the area is nice, and my family is here.
Why would you recommend this program to others?
I would definitely recommend the MDB program because it is a very large program with a lot of resources and very well known faculty.
What have you enjoyed most about the program?
The thing I have enjoyed most about the MDB program is the close connection with Children's hospital. It really brings what you do every day in the lab to life by being able to see that we are helping to understand and cure real life diseases.
