Employment Benefits
Postdoctoral fellows at Cincinnati Children's Research Foundation are considered full-time employees. As such, postdocs are entitled to full employee benefits in addition to their base salary, resulting in a very competitive compensation package. Some highlights of the benefits are as follows:

- A defined benefit plan that promises a benefit based on a formula. See attached Summary of Material Modification for formula. Must have three calendar years with 1,000 hours of service to become vested in the benefit

- Pre-tax 403(b) Accounts through the following authorized providers:-Dougherty & Associates, Fifth Third Bank, Great American Advisors, Horan Associates, Inc. and TIAA-CREF
- Employer Matching Plan
- If you contribute to a 403(b) account you are eligible for a 100% match on your own contributions of up to one percent of your gross compensation per pay period. Must have 3 calendar years with 1,000 hours of service to become vested in the benefit
- Tuition Reimbursement
- Benefit of up to $1,700 for self per fiscal year for full time. Prorated for part time
- Employee Assistance Program
- Provides confidential assessment, counseling, and referrals at no cost to the employee
- Vision Discount Plan
- Separate vision plan can be purchased for one free eye exam and discount eyewear
