Annual Postdoctoral Fellows Research Forum

Postdocs at Cincinnati Children can present their research at the annual postdoc fellow research forum

Every year, postdoctoral fellows at Cincinnati Children's Research Foundation have the opportunity to join other postdocs from the University of Cincinnati's College of Medicine in the Postdoctoral Fellows Research Forum.

This forum serves to promote scientific communication among postdoctoral fellows, graduate students and faculty, as well as to inform the scientific community and potential employers about current postdoctoral research activities at the College of Medicine and Children's Hospital.

The forum consists of a keynote speaker, a panel discussion on a given topic, and a poster session. The poster session is judged by a faculty committee, and $2,000 in prize money is awarded to the most outstanding presentation(s).

The poster session is open to any postdoctoral research trainee at the College of Medicine or Cincinnati Children's who is within five years of receiving their doctoral degree is eligible. Also, any fellows or residents (MDs) who are in research training may apply if they are within five years of receiving their MD degree.

The abstract and presentation should contain results of work completed while in training at the University of Cincinnati or Children's Hospital.
