About the Nephrology / Hypertenstion Fellowship
Join a national leader in nephrology and hypertension. U.S. News & World Report ranked the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at Cincinnati Children’s as third best in the nation. As a training program, we’re even better.
We offer a thorough curriculum that combines a very busy clinical service with opportunities for research and specialization. The clinical facilities are outstanding, and we have a proud history of cutting-edge treatment and research, including renal transplantation, since 1965. The clinical research we conduct is extremely broad: it extends from translational efforts focusing on biomarkers of renal disease to patient disease states such as hypertension and chronic renal insufficiency, as well as cutting-edge drug trial activity for renal tumors. Our basic science endeavors focus on genetic renal diseases, glomerular diseases, renal development, ischemia, apoptosis and cell survival.
