Applicants to the sports medicine fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center are selected annually from within the match sponsored by the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM). Potential fellows should apply to the program by using the universal application form provided by AMSSM. The annual application deadline is Oct. 15 in the year preceding anticipated entry into the program. No position offers will be extended outside of the match.
The fellowship is open to all applicants who have successfully completed a residency in primary care, pediatrics, family medicine or internal medicine. Preference will be given to US medical graduates. All potential sports medicine fellows will be either board certified, or board eligible, and licensed to practice medicine in Ohio and Kentucky.
